The most important element in determining the quality of pet care service you receive is the experience and consistency in the pet sitter. All pets are routine oriented and like to maintain the same schedule daily.  Walkabout Pet Sitting believes in consistent quality care and does not employ several different sitters to care for your pet.   Being the owner and only employee, your pet will be cared for by me. Having the same sitter each and every visit will alleviate the stress of your pet getting to know a new sitter with a different routine each visit. 

Working in a veterinarian's office that also catered to boarding pets really opened my eyes to the stress a pet may experience when left in an unfamiliar environment.  Not only did they lack the attention during the staff's busy day, the conditions did not provide adequate room for excercise and play.  With an in-home pet sitter, your pet/pets will benefit from scheduled excercise, playtime, and grooming once or several times a day.

Hours
My hours vary according to each pet's needs.  I generally begin the day at 7:30 a.m. for a breakfast and potty break visit and end with a night time potty break and putting your pet to bed in the evening, during my 9:30 p.m. visit.

Note: If you prefer the early morning visit and late night visit, please specify.  These visits are on a first come, first serve basis.
